Our Guiding Principles

“Do no harm” - Hippocrates
At NutriGold, we know that every time customers purchase one of our products, they are entrusting us with their most precious asset: their own health or the health of a loved one and this is not a responsibility we take lightly. This is the reason one of the most important principles that guides product development at NutriGold is ‘Do no harm.’ While the overall goal is to develop a product that is both safe AND effective, our first and primary objective is to ensure that our products do not present any risk to our customers’ health. To this end, every lot of our raw materials and finished products is tested for purity, including microbial contaminants, adulterants (if any), heavy metals, aflatoxins, residual solvents, residual pesticides, and allergens. At NutriGold, we consider ensuring every product is safe our most basic professional, moral, and ethical obligation to our customers.

“Let food be thy medicine, Let thy medicine be thy food” - Hippocrates
The strongest argument in favor of getting essential nutrients from supplements rather than from food can be found in the fact that a majority of the foods we consume are no longer as rich in essential nutrients as they used to be because most of them are not locally sourced, may be genetically modified, and are likely grown in soil that has been stripped of its natural goodness. In fact, the sad reality is that relying exclusively on food sources to meet the body’s needs can have the unintended consequence of increasing consumers’ risk of developing nutrient deficiencies. At NutriGold®, we stay true to our guiding principle of “food as medicine” while developing products to supplement consumers’ nutrient needs by formulating with ingredients that are either sourced from traditional food sources or cultured in whole-food matrices so customers can feel good about taking a product that is the next best thing to what nature has to offer.

“Quality does not have to be expensive; it just has to be a priority” - Anonymous
It is a well-known fact that there are substantive differences in quality among supplement brands and in an industry where “quality” is synonymous with “premium” and boasts a price tag that is unaffordable for the vast majority of supplement users, NutriGold® products are proof that quality doesn’t have to be expensive, it just has to be a priority. NutriGold® helps bridge the disconnect between value brands that offer average quality products at an affordable price and brands that boast superior quality product at a premium [read “unaffordable”] price by offering “premium” quality products at prices that are fair, reasonable, and affordable for the vast majority of supplement users. Call us idealistic, but we don’t believe that it serves anyone’s long-term interests to put consumers in the unenviable position of having to choose between quality and affordability.

“If you work just for money, you’ll never make it, but if you love what you’re doing and you always put the customer first, success will be yours” - Ray Kroc
The sole purpose of a company’s existence is to serve its customers for, without customers, there would be no purpose to the company’s existence. This is why companies, regardless of size, have a team of people committed to taking care of customers. At NutriGold®, we don’t have a customer service department; what we have is a company culture that makes customer service the primary professional responsibility of every single employee, no matter the rank or title. We recognize that everything we do, from qualifying vendors to sourcing ingredients, from testing raw materials to testing finished products, from production to quality control, from manufacturing to fulfillment, and, last but not the least, from marketing to management, is ultimately in the service of our consumers and as long as we do what we do with genuine care, passion, humility, and sincerity, we shall succeed in achieving our goal of enduring customer loyalty.

“Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not” - Oprah Winfrey
It is a well-known fact that most companies struggle to do the right thing because there is often a disconnect between the consumers’ and the companies’ perceptions of what counts as “doing the right thing.” At NutriGold®, we define ‘doing the right thing’ simply as doing what’s in the best interests of consumers, regardless of whether or not they know enough to care about or appreciate the significance of all the things we do to ensure their interests are protected. The reason we do this is not just because it is objectively and morally the right thing to do, but because we believe that there are no circumstances under which it is acceptable for a company to squander its integrity in the pursuit of profitability.
